George Adams is the Managing Director of the Consulting Services business unit within The VanAllen Group. George is responsible for the wide variety of organizational, operational and technical consulting services we provide for our clients. George brings a proven leadership approach to customer-oriented problem solving. His innovative applications of industry-leading principles enable him and his team to assist client organizations in achieving tremendous results.
George first joined The VanAllen Group in 2002. Previously George was Director of Aviation serving, successively and successfully, the needs of two high net worth individuals (HNWI) in Naples, Florida. Prior to those ventures, he founded and was president of Management Air Service (MAS), which supported the private aviation services of a multinational corporation for over 26 years. In all three roles George excelled in strategic planning, aircraft acquisitions, organization development and financial management. He is acknowledged for guiding his clients successfully through many challenging transitions. The HNWI operations and MAS have each been recognized as World-Class operations.
George has addressed the Corporate Aviation Management Conference of the National Business Aviation Association on several occasions. His topics have included “How to Do More with Less” and “Managing a Single Aircraft Flight Department”.
George brings to our clients a broad range of expertise in the following areas:

George’s post graduate studies have included the Darden School of Business, NBAA’s Management Series, and Training for Effective Aviation Management given by the Xerox Institute. He received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Professional Aviation from Oklahoma State University. His 40+ years in the aviation industry include over 14,000 hours of flight experience, and an ATP certificate with several type-ratings and substantial international experience.
