The Bombardier Lear 70, along with the Lear 75, is the newest derivative of the popular Lear 45.  Certified in 2013, the Lear 70 fleet is small but growing.  Compared to the larger Lear 75, the Lear 70 has two fewer seats (6 total) and no auxiliary power unit (APU).  Compared to its predecessor, the Lear 40XR, the Lear 70 has improved avionics, redesigned winglets yielding better fuel efficiency, and upgraded engines.  Corporate operators of the Lear 70 include Kiewit.

Lear 70 Buying Guide

The Lear 70 will be available new through Bombardier or on the prior-owned market.  Due to its deliveries beginning in late 2013, prior-owned aircraft will be few.  Optional maintenance service plans for engines (Honeywell MSP) and airframe (Bombardier Smart Parts) are also available to smooth cashflows and assist in resale.
