Cessna Citation CJ2+

CJ2 Exterior Cessna CJ2 Interior Cessna CJ2 Interior 2 Cessna CJ2 Flight Deck

The Cessna Citation CJ2+ is current entry point of Citation’s CJ product line. Although this airplane is primarily directed to the private owner/operator it offers more than enough performance and comfort to compliment support a corporate operation. It can fulfill missions often served by turboprops at comparable acquisition and operating costs. The current fleet size is over 200 aircraft and operators include Auburn University and Warren Oil Company.

The CJ2+ was introduced in late 2005 and provided Full Authority Digital Control (FADEC) for the engines and upgrades to the Collins Pro Line 21 Flight Management System designed to reduce pilot workload. The CJ2+ also has a slight increase in operating weights versus the CJ2 but the performance and operating costs are virtually identical. The production rate has been reduced but the CJ2+ is still being manufactured.

Citation CJ2+ Buying Guide

The Citation CJ2+ is available new from Cessna or used on the open market.  Outside a few small optional upgrades, the only significant variance among the CJ2+ fleet is the interior configuration.  The interior is offered with a standard 6-place interior.  An optional side facing seat with a smaller refreshment center can be installed to accommodate a seventh seat.  Optional maintenance service plans for engines (Williams TAP or TAP Elite) and airframe (Cessna Pro Parts) are also available.
