Falcon 900EX Dassault Falcon 900EX Interior Dassault Falcon 900EX Interior 2 Dassault Falcon 900EX Flight Deck

Overview

The Falcon 900EX EASy is the fourth iteration in the Falcon 900 series, a series which was introduced in the late 1980s.  The Falcon 900EX Easy incorporates the Honeywell EASy avionics package and upgraded engines.  The three Honeywell TFE731 engines provide added runway performance and improve the range to over 4,500 nautical miles.  At this range, most any international destination can be reached in one stop.  The 900EX EASy fleet is over 120 aircraft and current corporate operators include Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Shell Oil.

Falcon 900EX EASy Buying Guide

The Falcon 900EX EASy has been replaced with the 900LX so it is only available pre-owned on the open market.  A number of options are available to include avionics enhancements like heads-up display (HUD) and EASy II upgrade.   Cabin options include cabin layout, internet access, and cabin entertainment systems.  Cabin configurations commonly include three “zones” with an aft stateroom which can include a workstation, seats, or a couch convertible to a bed.  For aircraft nearing 6 or 12 years of age, careful consideration should be given to the “C” inspection which can be costly and timely.  Engine maintenance plans for the engines (Honeywell MSP or JSSI) are also available.
