In 2001, Gulfstream expanded its product line by acquiring Galaxy Aerospace which included the Galaxy. The original Galaxy was in production between 1999 and 2001. Gulfstream renamed the Galaxy as the G200 and oversaw the production of nearly 250 units between 2001 and 2011. The G200 was replaced by the G280 in 2012. Corporate operators of the G200 include Macy’s and Costco.

Gulfstream G200 Buying Guide

The G200 is only available used on the open market. Primary difference in the fleet will be the interior configuration as well as internet connectivity. Early G200s experienced interior quality issues and were also heavy, impacting range and runway performance. Many of these aircraft have been retrofitted with better, lighter interiors. Optional maintenance service plans for engines (Eagle Service Plan or JSSI) and airframe (PlaneParts) are also available.
