Gulfstream GV

Gulfstream GV Exterior Gulfstream GV Interior Gulfstream GV Interior 2 Gulfstream GV Flight Deck

Overview

At the time of its introduction in 1997, the GV was the longest range business jet available.  With over 6,000 miles of range, the GV pushed operational limitations for its crews.  Early designs of the GV did not include crew rest areas as part of the aircraft.  Later versions of the GV provided the crew rest area as an option to permit the use of “augmented” crews.  The GV cabin seats up to 18 passengers in three or four living areas. The most popular configuration will have seating for 14 passengers and will include a 4-place club arrangement, usually in the forward section, a 2-place club and divan in the mid-cabin and 4-place conference seating in the aft section. This configuration will berth 6 people.  The GV fleet is over 180 aircraft with corporate operators including Dillard’s, Starbucks, and Kimberly-Clark.

Gulfstream GV Buying Guide

The GV is only available used on the open market.  Careful consideration should be given to upcoming maintenance inspections, landing gear overhauls, and engine overhauls.  Each can be very costly and require extended downtime.  Common options will include internet connectivity, entertainment equipment, Heads Up Display (HUD) and interior configuration.  Optional maintenance service plans for engines (Rolls Royce Corporate Care or JSSI) and airframe (PlaneParts) are also available.
