Jeff Agur is the Managing Director of Fleet Planning and Aircraft Acquisitions with The VanAllen Group. Jeff is primarily responsible for our client’s strategic fleet planning, aircraft selection, and aircraft acquisition projects. During the past handful of years Jeff has supported, on behalf of our clients, the detailed planning and acquisition of over a half billion dollars in jets, turboprops, helicopters, and fractional shares. His adept ability to help clients navigate all the strategic, economic, and operational considerations is universally appreciated. Jeff’s client-focused and detailed approach gives them confidence in their decisions.
Jeff joined The VanAllen Group in 2003 as Director of Business Operations and was promoted to his current role in 2005. Previously, Jeff enjoyed a career in engineering and manufacturing where his responsibilities included many areas from strategic to technical. He led the creation and management of many manufacturing processes and their high-performing teams. He also directed the support and improvements to enhance product quality and company profitability. His process and project management efforts served to create increased customer satisfaction that continues today.
Jeff brings to our clients a broad range of expertise in the following areas:
• Strategic Planning,
• Aircraft selection, negotiations, contract support, and delivery process management,
• Oversight of aircraft disposition*, and
• Project leadership and management.
Jeff completed his Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) at Georgia State University. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of the Georgia Business Aviation Association (GBAA), past Chair of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Access Committee and a member of the NBAA’s Tax Committee. As an active member in the National Aircraft Finance Association, he is pursuing his ASA Senior Aircraft Appraiser certification. He is also a private pilot and a guest speaker on many aviation-related topics around the country.
